Make Your Own Ginger Lemon Tea

Lemon and ginger tea

Making your own lemon and ginger tea is a great way to give your immune system a boost and help fight off those coughs and colds!

All you need is:

  • 1 slice of ginger
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • 1 tsp of honey

To make your tea:

Pop your lemon and ginger slice in your favourite cup. Pour over boiling water and stir in a teaspoon of honey. Let your tea brew for 5 minutes and voilà, your tea is ready!

You could even make some yummy ginger biscuits to go with it as an extra treat! Perfect combination on a winter day.

Both lemon and ginger are a great source of vitamin C and a good boost to your immune system. Honey is also an antioxidant and is great for settling your stomach too.
