Cable back

Cable back
To work a backwards, right-leaning cable, knit to the point in the pattern where you see the abbreviation C6B – the central number can differ depending on the size of the cable, perhaps C4B or C12B.
At this point, take a cable needle and slip three stitches (or half the central number) onto the cable needle. Hold it at the back of the work and knit three stitches from the left needle. Now drop the left needle and pick up and knit the three stitches from the cable needle, before continuing on with the pattern.
